343 has done a miserable job handling this complete botch of a product launch. Their communication and responsiveness has been terrible. The patches don’t work, the game doesn’t work.
Here is what we need to do if we want to get their attention and get things moving.
Contact Microsoft support and DEMAND and full refund for the game. Don’t go to Gamestop or another 3rd party retailer - in that case they will eat the cost and MS keeps all the money. Demand it directly from Microsoft. This means they pay out the full retail price, even though they only collected about 80-90% of that.
Even if you want to keep the game (like me) because you want to play it THAT badly. Demand a refund and send it back - then buy a NEW copy from a retailer. Microsoft will lose some money in the transaction and you will still have your game.
If enough people do it, that will get their attention - I guarantee it.
