If you want Halo 5 to be more like Halo 2, Halo 3, or Halo 4, each of those games are available in the form of MCC. Even Halo: CE! I just played it and it works just fine. The graphics are upscaled and runs in 60 fps so its even better than the originals. Don’t like sprint? Play MCC. Don’t like the new ranking system? Play MCC. Want to fight brutes? Play MCC. Want to play Reach? It is now backwards compatible and servers are up and running. If Halo 5 was exactly the same as previous Halos people would be comparing it to Call of Duty which you basically pay for the same thing over and over again with small new features. I’m not doing this to start a nerd war either. I just don’t understand. 343i gave its loyal fans a great way to play the traditional halo game while they continually evolve the franchise while listening to feedback from the consumers. I understand MCC was broken when it was released and that was frustrating for everyone but it works fine now and there is a TON of content on that disc. For reals though, go play it.
There’s a difference between wanting Halo 5 to be more like Halo Ce and wanting Halo 5 to be Halo Ce.
Halo 3 feels a lot like Halo 2, but it’s not Halo 2. Meanwhile Halo 4 and Halo 5 feel like they could be part of a different franchise entirely.
Also, Halo Ce objectively doesn’t work fine, but that’s nitpicky on my part.
.
Agreed, people whine so much about how different Halo 5 is, but they’re still playing it instead of playing what they would call a “better” game.
Why aren’t you playing your favorite Halo instead of Halo 5? Probably because you don’t actually want to, and would rather play Halo 5.

You mean like, it has holes in the geometry and sound issues and a lot of other bugs… because that’s what I read.
Another one of these posts.
Reach still runs at a subpar frame rate and MCC’s population was devastated by the initial launch status. It still isn’t in fantastic condition and 343 has pretty much abandoned it for their new vision of the franchise.
Hopefully Halo 6 will be a return to form.

MCC still had a lot of issues. I would rather play a somewhat functioning, if horrible (in my opinion, I gotta plaster that everywhere, it seems) Halo game, than a downright horrible port of 4 games that still isn’t functioning correctly.
