The god awful team matching… take a look at my service record, look at all that god -Yoink!- red! I should not have to roll with a full team to win matches!
This is just pure BS. I have never been so discouraged to play an online game before than I am now with Halo 5.
So that’s the end of that rant. Sorry for cluttering the forum space, but I just couldn’t stay quiet when it’s this bad.
I hear you completely. This is why we should have social playlists like we did in Halo 3, so that people who don’t want to play super seriously with full teams can have a place to relax and enjoy themselves without having to resort to BTB or Warzone.

Well if you go into my game history, I’ve mainly been doing BTB, Warzone, and a bit of Grifball the past few days with the custom FFA scattered here and there.
I do about the same, I generally stick to BTB & Warzone, sometimes I’ll branch out and play other game types when I feel like it though. feel free to add me if you ever wanna party up

That’s basically what I play as well, with a bit of Team Slayer/Arena mixed in. Unfortunately, I’ve been away in another country for 3 weeks now, so I haven’t gotten to play at all…
Still, just having 3-4 playlists to choose from while playing social is far from acceptable. Where’s our Action Sack? Multi-Team? Social Slayer? Infection? All of the other Halo games had this, so why not Halo 5?

Well technically they have Social Slayer now… so just 5v5 Slayer with hidden ranks. But it says social in the title so it must be true social, right!?
I know the feeling. It’s irritating when I consistently perform really well on my team, and yet we lose over and over again because the rest of the random players on my team are… special.

Like this has always been a thing in Halo, I don’t want people to think I’m just whining for no reason. I’m whining because it literally happens 8/10 matches to not only me, but almost everyone I talk to as well.

I remember when my friend finally got Halo 5 and we started off with warzone and Team slayer.
We lost eight straight matches.
Halo 5 is pretty cruel to new players with lack-luster REQ’s and the inconsistant arena ranks mad it difficult for us to play against other players who werent much higher ranks than us.

Yeah, it definitely is. My friend used to play at launch with me, but stopped for a few months. He absolutely refused to play because he didn’t have any REQs… but he finally got in and surpassed all my friends but me in rank.
Unfortunately all my friends have gravitated away from the game, and even with my full Spartan Company, I never have enough people on Halo 5 to fill up a Warzone lobby.

Your win % is way above 50% in both arena and warzone.

That may be true, but over the past few weeks it has been slowly falling. I’ve been losing way more than I have been winning.

I know EXACTLY what you mean. I am always being placed on the losing team and have to perform miracles just to get anywhere in a match. This is really disheartening and grows tired very fast. Halo 5 is truly the only time I have had a frustrating experience in Halo multiplayer.

I’ve always gotten a bit heated in Halo… I’m quite the animated guy if you know what I mean ;). But Halo 5 is something else… it just seems so… unfair. If you go in solo, or with a small team, you will, 90% of the time, get stomped. I’m beyond surprised I still go back to it when the results are almost always the same.
