Hello Halo Community!
Josh is Downed here with a message for willing participants. I have been making Halo machinima’s since I got my first capture card in 2004. I have a few videos out on YouTube but nothing too serious.

I never went full time with movie making because I was too young and immature. It was also hard to find consistent actors and script writers. Also life just got in the way. So movie making has just been a hobby for the past 9 years.
I would like to get back in to pumping out videos (similar to RvB) but just for our own personal amusement.
I’m not intending to make profit off of these videos (unless they take off then we shall share them equally).
I call my group/company Scrapyard Films and I’m looking for specific types of people to be apart of my team.
I may not be famous but i do consider myself professional. Definitely not an amateur. I’m also gonna need YOU guys to have a little but of equipment to make these movies look good and sound. I’ve invested a lot of money into this hobby to make it to where I’m at right now.
I am also looking for people who have ideas for machinima’s as well. Technically you are called a writer. If you can think of movie ideas and scripts, you are definitely wanted!

- a decent computer with internet access that you can use simultaneously while on xbox live
- a computer mic/headset so you can record good quality voice/audio tracks
- an imagination!

- availability on weekends

I think I may be interested in helping you with this. I’ve tried doing machinimas before, but the people I worked with never really got their act together.

I can do some of the stuff u do I have capture card but it does not let me record my voice while playing u seem professional with this stuff can u help me out and I will help with your machinimas

I would like to join. I’ve been trying to get my machinima up and running, just i’ve been busy but im still in the process of doing it. But, just by wat you have, damn, thats a load of expensive programs, lol. All i’ve got is my AVID Pro Voice Recorder and my Capture Card, plus some SFX design.
It sounds interesting. I was in a mercenary team known as the Unknown Mercenaries back in Halo reach that did a video for me and my brother we started our own team and would love to have like a little 2 or 3 minute video made but we don’t have the equipment or the money for any of that stuff and it sounds interesting if you could if you want to help me and my brothers team its one team but we were wondering if you would be willing to help us out with a 1 or 2 minute video of some sort. The entier credit would go of course to you and you can share it on your youtube channel by the way great and awesome work watched most of the videos you have on your youtube channel very impressive. So if your willing to help us out then we would deffinetly be willing to help you out with body actors and everything if you ever need body actors in a Halo 4 machinima.
Thats expensive equip you have. I’m down for this project if u need help with body or voice acting, ideas etc… I have some experience in making a Machinima, did mild voice acting but the project never went through…

AWESOME! I’m really glad this post is getting attention! If you haven’t already, send me a friend request. gamertag is - Josh is Downed (obviously lol). I live in Texas so on the weekdays i can get online around 10-11 at night to do some writing with yall. (central time zone -6:00) I have the weekends off so we can do all the the recording then. Map building and stuff like that can be done whenever we anyone has free time.

yea my team and I would really love for you to do like a little machinima with our team being part of it or something like that. The team that I am in are all so far great people and players in general and we would all love to be part of a machinima or episodes for a machinima kinda like Arbiter617’s machinima called Rise Of The Spartans if you did a machinima kinda like that not exactly but with your own ideas and maps then my team and I would love to be part of a couple of episodes or even the entire machinima from start to end our team is called T.K.V AKA Tracker Venom we are a mercenary team and we are good at what we do we all have our own personalities and our own specialties that we are best at and that is why the team was created. Just send me a message if you have some kind of idea about a machinima that we could be part of as a team.

hey id like to join your machinima group i have all the requirements you need to help out. and i just wrote a script for halo reach that i think could be good the only problem is that i dont have the actors or body actors, or the capture card. i loved watching machinimas and ive been trying for the last few years to get in a machinima.
