We NEED wall running this has been in many many games and I think we should bring it to halo 5 guardians. Like I said many games have this feature so I think its a good idea to bring to xbox halo5

I hope it was for humor. Don’t get me wrong I love wall running in games, it’s a cool feature to have. But it’s not a Halo feature really, and would seem out of place

I think he’s serious, we have to remember there’s another generation who’s been adapted to newer game mechanics and such. And we have to remember the actual community has grown since then as well. But I could be wrong. But the way the message was presented made it seem they were younger. We just have to be open to discussion instead of writing it off just in case OP is serious or not.

As for OP, it would be cool. Maybe in a spinoff. But something like that doesn’t fit into Halos “Arena Gameplay” mechanics. It creates randomness and would drastically change maps, having too many “walls” and closed up sight lines. The Clamber mechanic made sense due to Halos “verticality”, wall running decreases that. Titanfall, Brink, or COD maps are for the most part flat so the mechanics work well there. Those games are decent too and you can easily get your fix there.

Sprinting and clamber is enough for me. Wall running just would not feel right at all.

wall rung works in Titanfall because it balances Pilots against Titans. BO3’s version feels like an afterthought and extremely limited. There is no purpose for it in Halo. Halo doesn’t even need sprint. I’d rather see double jumps but none of the extra movement is needed in Halo.
