Wall riding

Wouldn’t it be great to wall ride on the rig and suprise the enemy? It could work because of all the other Spartan abilities, it would also add another layer of tactics to the game, and you can get though the enormous multiplayer maps like stormbreak faster.

you mean like in BO3?

Im pretty sure the community here wants the game to be “less like cod” and wall riding is probably something they will say is a cod thing

Well, 343 has gone this far in making the game similar to modern shooters so I don’t see why they wouldn’t go all the way.

Maybe not wall riding, but I think it would be cool if we’re able to kick off a wall.

It could be a double tap on the “A” button.

Don’t you think that’s too late? Plus it’s not just a cod thing, other games has it too. Also it makes more sense for it to be in a halo game than bo3

Like wall jumping, I’m fine with anything wall related

Nah, I think it’s good as is.

I’m not calling it a cod thing I’m just saying that I’ve seen a lot of people say things like sliding and scoping is a cod thing when its just a common thing in most shooters

Well a scenario I was thinking of is when an enemy player is chasing you. You could run up to a wall, double tap “A” and would kick off the wall doing a back flip over the enemy player that was chasing you.

It could make for some crazy cool gameplay.

Multiplayer would just turn into everyone wall running because they’d be nearly invincible. People already have a hard time dealing with players strafing. Cool idea, but I don’t think it fits well in Halo’s play style.

People said that about sprinting and in this game the addition of thrusters. Both work fine and only makenthe game better.

That’s a debatable topic. I’d say the Halo community is very much torn between hating sprint and being ok with it.

Yes, but they stay level for the most part. Wall running would promote not only more vertical gun fights, but their head would be harder to hit. This in turn leads to players becoming more inaccurate. Wall running works in cod because of the very low kill times, it wouldn’t work well in Halo because of the higher kill times.

Essentially what I’m saying is that the majority of the population is Platinum and Diamonds. There are a good bit of them that struggle with “unpredictable” player movements as it is. Why increase the “unpredictability” even more? It would only frustrate the majority of the community.

I associate it more with Titanfall than COD, and I loved it in that game, however, I don’t think we need it here. Also after going back and replaying all the old Halos again sprinting is a godsend.

You can already do it if you jump into an uphill slope. It pushes you away, though it’s not that useful…

Would make sense really, MJLONIR has magnetic pads in the boots and gloves for zero-G combat, why couldn’t a Spartan use them to run up a wall and hurl themselves forwards?
Maybe a scramble instead, add a bit more to the clamber mechanic. Course it would be LOUD AS HELL and everyone on the other side would hear you when you did it…

More like Titanfall. The one who started all of this.

Titanfall Titans are the same than H5 Spartans, just cant jump… But nothing is enought for that kind of people who keep ruining FPS genere. Whats next? Prone?

If they add this to halo 6 i wont get it not even for the story
