Walker in H4

Does anyone think we should have a walker in H4? I believe it would be a fun vehicle to add if 343i implemented it for H4. I also posted this on the Poll Booth forum for voting (so far positive).

I can see a Forerunner War Sphinx in Halo 4

I could see an updated version of the Cyclops in H4

Meh…Halo’s vehicle catalogue doesn’t really incorporate Walkers.

I like to think that the world decided that since the wheel is such a brilliant means of getting around, why not stay with it, jump 500 years to when Halo apparently takes place and they are still happy with it.

Why? Those things weren’t even common in the war, and plus his on a forerunner planet, I think I’ll take a forerunner mech that “decimate entire cities” over a UNSC mech armed with a over sized drill…

Notreally Halo in my view,but its not a bad idea.If it was in H4,however,it should be 3rd person,like vehicles always are.

Agreed, the first person view in BF2142 was awkward on vehicles imo, wouldn’t want that in Halo.

A forerunner mech would be awesome. search the sphincs concept!

Personally, I would love for there to be some kind of mech in Halo, even if it was the Cyclops. I could see a sort of Assault gametype built around it where you need to destroy the enemy base, or get through some type of blast door/barrier, and the Cyclops excels at destroying structures. The Assaulting team would get a couple Cyclopes to mainly destroy the barrier while the rest of the team covers them, and the defending team would have some heavy weapons close to spawn since the Cyclopes would be largely unaffected by small arms fire. If balanced right I could see it being pretty fun.

And while bringing up Battlefield 2142, I would love to see a Halo version of Titan mode. For those that don’t know, Titan mode had you trying to destroy the other team’s Titan before they destroyed yours. The Titans are flying mobile bases that you had to take down the shields of before you could assault and destroy it. I could see for Halo, the “Titan” could be a Forerunner ship, and essentially be like a flying Elephant. With the current player count it probably wouldn’t be as great since it would need a pretty big map, but if the player count is increased it could fit in beautifully.

You have no idea how long I’ve wanted this gametype in Halo.

Maybe there are some other humans on the planet who “crashed” there just like the Chief? He can’t get all of his ammo, weapons and vehicles from the Dawn.

Plus, it could be a heavily updated combat version of the Cyclops. They could add some kind of gun to it (something like the Warthogs Minigun would be cool) which would be used with the right trigger and it could melee attack with the left trigger. It’d make it a very unique vehicle as we’ve never used anything like it before.

Who’s to say the UNSC didn’t make super-duper Cyclopses in the 4+ years the Master Chief has been away?
