Not sure why. He was playing the Minotaur game in Action Sack and was hiding the entire round without moving to avoid the zombie Mantises, but ended up getting booted for inactivity.
My suggestion would be to move your gun around a little bit or that might happen. It sucks, but I’d rather it be in place then having legit AFK’ers in the game.
He is claiming he got booted from a game while hiding in the action sack game where the infected are in mantis and you hide in the maze. I always make sure to crouch every now and then as not to be idle.
When are they going to bring back the Manthis Infection? I miss that game

You don’t need to play it to get the gist of what he’s trying to say. He didn’t move for the entire round and got booted so basically the game thought he was AFK.

Getting removed from a game is not the same thing as getting a matchmaking ban. I’ve been booted like maybe a couple times (damn those Grifball betrayals), but never been banned.
OP, I don’t know how you played that game, but even in cases where the objective is to hide, there is a difference between hiding and not doing anything. You can still do controller input even in games like Minotaur and Prop Hunt. Looking around and changing position when the coast looks clear are great ways of telling the game that you’re actually there and didn’t just go off to take a nap or something.

I interpreted as him getting booted in a Mantis infection match for inactivity. The message when booted for inactivity is “Wake up, john”
Anyway, he says he was playing the game like he was supposed to and it’s stupid he got booted.
Just shows how boring that game mode is. The game did him a favor by encouraging him to play something more exciting lol.
