I would argue that yes, it is still 343’s fault since all that MCC taught anyone was that PC players never wanted MCC PC; they wanted a reasonable rollout of each individual title on it’s own. from Custom and Vista getting fixed Steam rereleases, to Halo Online being reworked into a solid Halo 3 & ODST PC port with the potential for future expansions.
Except that’s not true. People jumped ship from MCC to Infinite and people needed a break from Halo as a whole because of it of the lack of content and disappointment with 343i. Work on MCC has slowed down severely obviously but there is no guarantee they will continue if there’s not enough interest via stats. MCC did ok before this ‘season’ updates and it’s only recently got to a point where the population feels dead.

I didn’t want to take a break and infact I want to play Halo, but Infinite is still after multiple patches laggy and kicks you out of games. I dare you to do ranked because you’ll bust your butt working the ladder to then get kicked out and boom lose an entire level of progression. Not worth it.
I am just super sad I cannot even play MCC anymore or at least what I enjoy which is H2A.

No. If you’re in the US, you can find matches in literal seconds if you have platform based matchmaking and input based matchmaking off.

That’s exactly my set up and what you claim is not true. I have been in queue for almost 30 minutes just browsing the forums right now…on a Saturday night…when it is supposed to be busy.

I haven’t touched Halo Infinite in a while when I realised how many people were using cheats in-game on PC since it makes ranked utterly pointless plus bad enough no radar in ranked for the stupid HCS nonsense.
I really wish 343i would get better management and give better support to classic Halo. I don’t even have faith anymore or trust in 343i when it comes to Halo Infinite. For me the lack of Halo support for MCC feels like the death of Halo since I can’t play these games online anymore and we all know Infinite is major decline.
If you’re just trying to play H2A BTB you aren’t finding games because it sucks and no one is playing that. It doesn’t mean MCC is dead. People are playing the better games. If you’re set on playing H2A move to 4v4 where you find matches in seconds. Stop saying the game is dead because your super limited options aren’t finding games.

If we had our own dedicated server software we would not have to put up this the BS!!! 
Hell we had our own dedicated Server for Halo Combat Evolved and Halo 2. So WTF why don’t we have it NO!W!!!

That’s odd i just got done playing g2a swat and big team it finds a server for me after about 5 minutes
Nodoby likes Halo2A as a multiplayer since it was done based on Halo 4 ENGINE, so fo r the nostalgic people it’s preferable to play Halo 2 classic (sword fly / cancel / double BR shot / quick melee - shot) than Halo2A just remember when Halo 3 arrived on PC and everybody left from that one

It may be in that engine but it is gorgeous and plays flawlessly. It is a perfect copy and upgrade in many ways especially in sound and controller rumble. I cannot even go back to regular Halo 2 because 2A is that much better.
With that said you are probably right. Everyone is wrong.

For the OP: you’re lucky if you ever manage to play H2A BTB, because I never did. Not today, not a y ear ago, not when H2 added to MCC. Yeah ,it’s unpopular, but some reason I love it! Good graphics, nice remake of the original maps, shooting iceberg to the enemies (hehe), got plenty of weapons AR, magnum, BR, SMG, silenced SMG, etc. and dual-wield.
And I never limited nothing in network settings, all severs, crossplay, everything is on! But now from weeks feels MCC getting a ghost town, then everyone saying Infinite is dead, but at least I can find any matches below 30 secs!

I’m with you brother I absolutely love Halo 2 A BTB. Sadly, I qued up at the beginning of work yesterday around 8am and by lunch nothing had happened. Sat there for four hours and no games found.
Pretty disappointed to be honest.
