What a bad faith read. That’s genuinely not what they mean and you should seriously know better.
In a Galaxy far far away…….
Cue the Star Wars theme

Should I? With the way Halo is run these days I don’t think so. You can think it’ll be a magical perfect experience though, but I watched the trailer
Just watched a reaction review on it

Gotta be honest. Not really liking what I’m seeing. Also, I feel like almost every other clip of Chief is a different render of the suit. Several times I’m like what the heck is wrong with the visor, the textures, the lighting, etc. It’s like they have 12 different renders of Chief over the last 10 years and they never bothered to replace any of the older versions of it, so they just pieced it together over 10 years and just went along with it like we wouldn’t notice. Idk. Not feeling good about it.
Dude even said this will probably be the Disney Star Wars of Halo, which you know, I think that will be a dead accurate description.
10 years is a long time to make a product not look good, but coincidentally, 343 has also been working on unpopular Halo games for 10 years so… ugh… Bungo look how they massacred your boy
Side note, I cannot stand flesh Cortana. I don’t know who thought flesh Cortana was a good idea. I don’t want to see Cortana textured with flesh. Making her blue and transparent was not a hard decision, who decided against that?
It’s already confirmed it’s not canon.
Why is this in the “Halo Infinite” section?
Listen I’m not exactly excited for this show. But I’m just not that cynical.
Live service game hard to keep functioning, make IP profit by invest in streaming series, can be good or bad, either way clicks = cash and no live service maintenance so they can focus on fixing infi-
i mean, so they can recoup that 500 milly with $20 chromas.
stonks

That’s what they did with Cowboy Bebop. We all know how that went lmao.
Eh showtime and paramount are all under the same cbs Viacom ownership umbrella.
They probably moved it it to paramount to try and boost subscribers since Its a new service.
Had the show not been delayed for so many years it would have been on showtime.
In the bed the same parent company had the rights to the show.
Was it bad? I don’t watch TV much these days.
So Paramount+ is gobbling up all the science fiction that isn’t Star Wars or owned by Fox prior to their merger with Disney? But if they have nothing else to offer but classic Star Trek and a hip new take on Halo. I don’t see it boosting their subscribers.
It was so weird. The only reason to watch LA Cowboy Bebop is to experience the secondhand embarrassment
Well yes they are clearly hoping halo boost subscribers otherwise they probably would have released on showtime as planned.
showtime is already well established having been around for like 40 years.
Paramount + is only about 7 years old I’m sure they are hoping it will grow paramounts base.
My thoughts in general though having such redundancy by having multiple premium services under one parent company is a bad idea.
Probably because every other forum section is dead.
Flesh Cortana scared me. I didn’t want a ready player 1 avatar as my sidekick.
That’s not true.
There are people who don’t play FPS games who might enjoy the story.
Also, I wouldn’t mind seeing the story retold with more details, action scenes and adaptations of other events.
I have seen a few videos of the series. The Master Cheif’s voice does not sound like the Master Chief’s Voice In the Halo Game played by Steve Downes! that kinda sucks!
I think people look at lore vs non lore as a black and white thing, I personally do not. They’re saying it isn’t lore to avoid a crazy Aliens: Colonial Marines fiasco where the show could be horrible and the devs would have to run with whatever the makers went with. If the show is good though, expect them to make more of it canon.
I don’t agree. I don’t think they have any plans to make this canon, they want a whole separate alternate story.
There are clear contradictions between the story of the show and the story of the main universe already, for example: In the tv series Masterchief already knows about Halo before they find it and makes it his misssion to find it, in the main universe they have no idea what it is when they find it.
I don’t think they would even attempt to connect this together even if it’s well received. it’s too far off.
What’s the New Halo show about?
Its about Halo
