Wait, What Does This Mean About The Campaign?

Something I haven’t seen yet is the implication this has on the campaign. Locke will definitely have these abilities, so I think we can definitely expect some more verticality (including climbing) for his missions at the very least. While John may not have the thrusters or abilities other than slide and climb, I think it might be present in his sections of the game as well.

Would you like to see a more vertical campaign? That could very well make it far less linear than the way it has been before.

I don’t think it’ll change things that much; Clamber only seems to be for relatively small things like grabbing a ledge you almost made it to rather than climbing up and over big walls and the like. This isn’t going to turn into Assassin’s Creed.

I think we are going to be running through some space favela.

Halo 5 campaign should be fine as long as they get rid of those horrid crippling QuickTime events I am a spartan I do not struggle to do a basic military crawl I like the athlete climbing as part of core game play

Linear gameplay went out the window when they introduced jetpacks in 2010 with Halo: Reach and it’s stuck ever since.
