Didn’t they play test the hell out of it? Seems like that’s a problem that should of been fixed.
The game doesn’t end immediately after the final enemy is taken down, the timer goes for a few extra seconds. Whether that’s a good thing so people can challenge themselves to go faster and make the game harder, or a bad thing because it still counts as a loss even though they killed the enemy is for people to decide. Maybe the latter of the two

I would link to the game in question, if its an issue, it would be nice if 343 didn’t have to search your history for it.
I know a lot of the mythic’s don’t spawn solo, either other mythics or legendarys, haven’t seen the grunt mech yet(sadface), does it spawn solo or with back up, was the back up dead?
Heck I played a game that last round was 2 wardens. And 2 mythic wardens… holy heck was that a ruff win

Even at that, edge cases can sneak up on you. You could playtest and bug-fox for day and still miss large bugs, even obvious ones but they won’t show unless you hit certain criteria.

The support forums would probably be a better place though, since they watch that 24/7
