Tell me now what YOU see because to me, it looks big enough to be a new forge map, it’s not snow, space or rocky mountains… It’s ocean with islands!
So unless i’ve completely missed something here… Can this be? This long rumored return of Forge World? Or am i completely blind?
I hope to be corrected and if not, hear what other people think, seeing as this update is supposed to be rather large and the fact there seems to be so much energy and hype regarding the contents.
There’s 2 islands… that’s about all we can see past the doll. Other than whatever the hell the thing on the right is.
Forge World didn’t have Palm trees, but the skybox (skyboxes) could’ve changed. I’m hoping for Forge World!

That’s freaking doll with sunglasses on… 10/10 IGN would Forge again…
The islands are most likely just part of the skybox. But yeah, I hope it’s just a new skybox for Reach’s Forge World.

True! The original didn’t but keep in mind that if Forge World is to return, they would probally change it so it doesn’t feel like a bad ‘‘port looking’’ map.

Right you are! The islands could be a part of the skybox or maybe forged, seeing as the ‘‘Forge team’’ are the ones teasing us. It’s very possible the weird thing on the right is something they built tho… unless you consider the doll with the sunglasses to be normal for a Halo map! Hahaha
But just the overall endless ocean is enough to tickle my curiousity on the matter. As i recall, the original did also feature lots of pretty water, stretching for miles beyond the map’s border back then. One can hope!

I want either Forge world or a water canvass (Hopefully water death would be toggleable)
Other than catering to nostalgia, a remake of Forge World would offer very little to Halo 5 that the existing Forge maps don’t already cover. Give me an ocean canvas (and allow Forging underwater too) and I’ll be infinitely more satisfied.
Tom French (head of 343’s Forge team) is more or less against a Forge World remake too so don’t expect it anytime soon.
The red thing to the right looks like a big plastic cup, lol. (Stupid guess, right?) With a golf or the soccer ball, and a golf club. I’d say they’re banking on people to make a Halo Beer Pong mini game? As for the islands, it would be cool to have Forge World. But it’s not really a necessity. (Also, nothing in the picture was really that indicative of size. A lot of it look like a low Rez skybox, but I could be wrong) but a lot of Forgers including myself would prefer a blank canvas with water. But either would be nice.
But all in all, I honestly can’t wait for the Forge update.(And WZFF) Forge is probably the only thing that keeps me coming back to this game. Forge is life.
One can only hope, OP. I had so many fun times in forge, custom games, and matchmaking on Forge World in Halo: Reach.

Hahaha i used to do that with my mates as well! That’s why it’d be fitting for Forge world to return! I just works perfectly for Base to Base combat.
APEX 7 has palm trees, so maybe we will be able to forge warzone maps?
ps. that will probably never happen, tho they DID say there would be a new forge canvas
It’s probably a new canvas “inspired” by Forge World. While I get everyone enjoyed having that massive area to play in, at some point you have to realize that every canvas in H5 is around the same size as Forge World, so in H5 you really have multiple Forge Worlds with different scenery making it a Forge Universe. Why are we more excited about a Forge “World” when we already have multiple forge worlds?

But you know it won’t let us build in the water unlike force world where you could about 2 inches in. They’ll mess that up as well, guaranteed.
I hope I love the big cave it will be very useful and maybe we will get the warzone bases
Those two island look exactly like the one on some old halo map I just cant remember the name that or the one from the beach mission in halo CE
