From what I have seen of Halo 4 so far it looks great. The MLG videos really showcase what looks like a great revival of the Halo multiplayer systems with a new and fresh formula. It takes from other modern shooters but it makes its own flavor to it that allows Halo 4 to have similar mechanics to other games in certain areas but not to the degree that a riot would ensue to burn 343 down to the ground. I like what I have seen for the game but not so much by the community already gathering in hate for Halo 4 which isn’t due to release for another six months. I’m like any one of you. I was in the thick of it with Reach with all of you, only difference being very little complaint (camping spots in infection that made zombies a turkey shoot for humans, you know what I speak of).
I guess what I’m trying to say is that all you people so inclined to complain about everything related to Halo 4 shown through MLG or E3 need to stand down and wait until more is shown before passing off judgment and accusations like the people in Salem Massachusetts during the witch trials of 1692 on the game. I would be willing to put money down that 90% of you will complain all the way up to release but still purchase the game and enjoy it like any other true fan of Halo. Realize everything is subject to change. The days of Halo 1, 2, and 3 have passed. The formula of Reach and its evolution to Halo 4 are what you will deal with and nothing you say will change that in the slightest.
343 please keep up the good work. Halo 4 is looking great and it will revive the greatness of the Halo franchise. Don’t listen to the people who judge ignorantly without first hand experience.

I know people here probably think I am a troll. However I have played every Halo and a variety of different games and seen their communities. For example, alongside Halo I play Gears of War, Mass Effect 3, Forza Motorsport 4, etc. I have the experience to back my words up. The communities are not giving the companies the ability to do their jobs without an angry mob ready to tear their throats out at the slightest mistake.
I mean really people. We are months from Halo 4’s release and you already condemn the new additions and scorn the continued existence of AA’s. Give 343i a chance guys. They are doing a great job with Halo 4 but your blind hatred of Reach which is likely false as well keeps you from giving Halo 4 a fair chance. Don’t turn these forums into the mess of hate that the bungie forums became after Reach.
you know what i seen in the mlg gameplay? EVERYONE was using Promethean vision you know what else doesn’t belong in halo? perks. if those were taken out i think this game would be perfect.
This is what I mean. You look at this perk system and call it a cater to COD (well more like implied). I honestly think that these systems will be great in the end and even you will accept them. I hate seeing communities condemn additions to the game without experiencing them first hand. If you were playing at E3 then I’ll take your statement seriously otherwise it is ignorant judgement of a system subject to change. And in regard to Promethean Vision the 343 employee on the MLG videos I saw said they were still actively tweaking and tuning the Promethean Vision for balancing and such. Don’t condemn it before release. They are six months out. Give them a chance to iron out the wrinkles.
so far the halo 4 perks include’
scavenger- pick up nades off of dead bodies
marathon- longer sprint
overkill- two primary’s in load out
the list goes on but all of these perks are from call of duty and nobody can deny it.
This is 343i not the COD developers. They will balance it where COD did not. Do not condemn the new additions without using them first hand in Halo 4. This community practice of hating on the game before it is even released is ridiculous. All is subject to change and nothing this far from release is fully finished being tested, tweaked, and balanced. So please silence the complaining. Wait until the game is released before passing your judgement. It is like sending someone to the noose without a fair trial, that happened plenty history and look where that practice got folks doing the hanging. They sure didn’t go far with glory and riches. So what worth is it to complain six months before release when you know full well things are likely to change many times throughout the course of the next few months before release.
