Ok. So Frankie has said they added some “story” or canon into the Multiplayer this time around. We know Spartan 4’s are new, from the books and now Halo 4.
Now Spartan 4’s consist of Special Ops, ODST, things of that nature, tough SOB’s. And wasn’t ONI messing around with things, including The Elites (after supposed peace).
So, You got the rest of The Covenant, who may or may not be a huge enemy, but most likely will give us something else to shoot. Then you got whatever new enemy we have. Then The FLood at some point for sure are back. Then you got these Spec-Ops guys in Spartan Suites, probably a good amount of them too.
Who probably (not too sure) work for ONI. Who are pretty much being giant a-holes (from what I remember and gather). While Chief is trying to save the world and perhaps go against ONI’s butthurt revenge may find himself facing other Spartans.
Perhaps the Spartan 4’s and ONI’s personal forces will be one of our last foes. Think of it like the Flood in Halo:CE. A game changer. There could even be a deep antagonist Spartan 4 (most likely a leader).
In Multiplayer it may just be that. Maybe 4’s vs 2’s. Or maybe it would be implied by color.
>Also it would be cool for invasion if they did use Spartan 2’s and 4’s. That way Invasion could be
Spartan 2 vs Elite
Spartan 4 vs Elite
Spartan 4 vs Spartan 2
Well. If anyone has this theory already, or more info about it, do link me it or share with me. Sure somebody had it. Just dont see it.
While ONI are some of the biggest a-holes out there, they have always acted in the best interest of humanity as a whole. Trying to kill off John and other Spartan-IIs seems like anything but the best thing for humanity, no matter the situation.
ONI would never try to kill the Spartan IIs because they are humanities best. We may have Spartan IIIs and IVs but the IIs are the most skilled ones. They’ve been kicking butt since they were six years old.

just saying, the info you got from the books are most likely irrelevant, because frankie said this time, they’re using JUST the game as an info source, not books or things like that.
> In all honesty I think the fiction around Red vs Blue is purely combat training that all Spartan’s undergo.
>
> In this case, the fiction could be suggesting Spartan IV’s are under full production, hence the training.
I don’t like the idea of putting a story into the multiplayer, mostly because I don’t like the idea of them making more Spartans just makes the chief look not as important.

Knowing ONI they want the best of the best. Maybe pitting teams of spartans together for survival winner Is put in service.

Exactly, Spartans are too damn valuable and 4s are the best of both, The height, strength and speed of Spartan IIs, but with the success rate and numbers of the IIIs program, in that everyone can now be a Spartan because the drugs are compatible with all genes, not specific presets. The only thing that Spartan IVs don’t have over the IIs is experience, which in the field of war is very valuable.
Well as I said wasn’t ONI messing around with Elites. If they are willing to -Yoink- with the one species who even made it possible to win the War then I’m sure they are stupid enough to mess with Spartan 2’s
Also if I am not mistaken didn’t they find the surviving Spartans and bring them to there families. Seems almost like a giant set up to me. Stripping all the Spartans of there armor, going back to there families…Easy targets.
What if ONI ends up betraying the UNSC. The Elites and Chief. For what reason I’m not sure, maybe power, maybe they found something, but I just don’t trust ONI.

This
They did all these drastic things like kidnapping the spartan IIs at like 6yrs old to keep the peace, all the messed up things they did was to gain an edge on the Covenant. If they didnt do some of the stuff they did humanity = dead
I dont think it will be S2s vs S4s. i see it more being along the lines of a training simulation this gives 343 the ability to bring in past foes with out having to put them back in the story cuz everything is just a computer simulation. but thats just my 2 cents
