Wait time message in Halo Infinite encouraging less population in a playlist?

Ranked Arena numbers in Halo Infinite are very low (especially in Australia)

Does the “Not enough players to estimate wait time”, “Wait times may be too long to find a match”, and a high “Estimated wait” time actually encourage less population in a playlist?

I would assume when people see these messages they just decide to play in other playlists which ultimately makes the wait times even worse for the playlist which already has high wait times.

One solution could be to have wait lobbies? Seeing others in the playlist would encourage more players to queue in that playlist.

Players can also gauge how long wait times are by searching in the playlist themselves.

Or maybe this could be coming in the menu update?

Removing the wait time icon won’t fix anything. Adding playlists people want to play would bring players back. But that would be crazy right lol. I don’t understand why they go so far from the original halo multiplayer experience everytime a game launches then slowly add things back to the way they should be.

I do know this. People who play alone and want to play ranked don’t want to play arena. There should be a full ranked playlist with all game types.

At least add ranked slayer and ffa.

Also why is the tracker not in ranked?

It’s probably because they desperately want to try and break the Halo mold, but instead they disappoint most of their customers because the new product is radically changed from the old product that got those people interested in the first place.

I would like to see population numbers of each playlist like they did back in H3.
