You knew the product was a single player product and if you say other wise you are quite simply either failed to do due diligence as a consumer or are being intentionally disingenuous.

Nothing in the initial jerry hook announcement said there would be free credits.
Yet another case of people taking third party info from “game journos” who lack basic comprehension and relaying missinformation.
I dont recall a single statement that the earnable credits were free. But above is a quote clearly stating it was tied to the battle pass.
A paid option. In a free to play game.
But please if you have evidence to the contrary share it.

The model isnt great but by no meams were you mislead on how it works.
Can we please just make valid critisms, there are so many to be made, not just go in circles complaining about things after they are done.
At least make these complaints heard prior to them being in the game so something tangibly changes.
Instead all we seem to do is get people arguing in bad faith while claiming those who are being honest in their critique get called “defenders” just cause they dont play into a narrative someone created to justify anger.
Obviously there needs to be more free unlocks but 20 bucks for a non expiring BP that will pay for all future content in a F2P game is arguably one of the more procunsumer systems in AAA.
Sure thats not saying much but it is something.
To be honest im not sure why people are so into discussing cosmetics when there are tangible gameplay and functionality issues to iron out not to mention a distinct lack of content.
This sort of stuff is way down in my personal list of priorities but to each there own I suppose.
But it cant be denied this is the single most accessible MP in the franchise.
There are free cosmetics in the game.
They did introduce the earnable credits as they stated they would, the way they explained it would function.
Ultimately I enjoy the gameplay and thats why I choose to play the game.
I dont play it to cosplay virtually.
I do concede some are more interested in the cosmetics than I am. Perhaps it even supercedes the gameplay itself in cases.
And the thing that I believe serves both ideals butter than earned credit is long form challenge rewards.
