Wait did I just hear music while carrying...

Yeah you heard right. Yes I’m still watching the multiplayer panel and I think everyone here has seen it. Theres going to be music now while carrying the flag or the skull in oddball? I actually think this is a good thing. Its going to encourage teamplay and more people to go for the objective rather then just staying back and not doing anything aka some 1 Flag or 1 Bomb games on Reach.

Also I think that rather then the person carrying the flag, for CTF the team whos player is carrying the flag, the whole team should hear the music while the defending team hears some more dramatic music. Same thing goes for Team Oddball. I think this’ll really enhance the experience in games but I do think it should also be optional as some people prefer their own music while playing matchmaking.

It’s just background music for the demonstration

They stated that when carrying the flag or oddball that there would be musical cues, I think it was Josh that said it.

Actually Tridyrium, some of the devs have said that there are in fact musical cues during the beginning, end, and if certain events happen during a game (i.e. killjoy, killing sprees, grabbing/arming objective etc.)

I still think it should in in-game though. Josh Holmes I think mentioned it that it would be in-game.

Tridyrium, I commend you for your YouTube page. Whenever new soundtracks come out, I go to you to listen to them.

Sorry, should’ve reworded that better. I’m specifically referring to the music that we heard in the actual demonstration.
