Wait... bosses can regain all health?

Knight nobles almost killed, until they regained all their health back. What??

So is this a part of the game design or is this a glitch? Is there a way to stop this if it’s a part of the game design?

It’s intentional, and I hate it. Especially when it’s something other than Promethean tech healing itself. Just doesn’t make any sense.

This happens all the time with those overpowered Mantises on Darkstar and Sanctum. Their shields fly up after less than two seconds, which is annoying enough, but if you don’t deal enough damage in some amount of time, boom, full health. Same issue with the halfbreed Helios Phaetons. No watchers around to fix anything, the health bar just shoots back up.

Bosses are incredibly weak, they need the ability to regenerate health because it only takes a few bullets to put them down.

Yes it is… people are too quick to complain about this crap. Kill the watchers, and no health is regenerated! This has literally been the deal since the beginning.

I’ve seen Covenant bosses gain health. Explain that.

And you realize not even Watchers can restore all health back at once

Anyone else think that prometheans should have a vehicle that is bigger than a knight but smaller than Warden Eternal?
If their health regens, its because of a watcher healed them. If it was a mantis, then that stuff is dumb and annoying. However I found out that the easiest way to take down the Mantis Commandos is by using ghosts. For some reason, they get stunned and go into a crouch state and don’t even bother firing. lol

Yes they can… when the knight spawned in the Fortress all the time, if you didn’t kill all the watchers with him, you would see his entire health bar come back. I have never seen a Covenant boss regain health, post a link to a video or something.
There MAY be a bug in the game that gives a boss back his health, but I doubt it.

Sure does happen with Covenant. Watch the Banshee bosses on Urban. Stand in amazement of their healing powers.

without sustained fire, the health will regenerate on all bosses. It is roughly at 25% 50% 75% and 100% increments. I am not a fan at all, but i believe this is to ensure teams keep sustained fire on the enemy

I just had a match where a Phaeton regenerated his health back with no Watcher in sight. When it’s done uploading, I’ll show it

Definitely seen bosses with no watchers regenerate.

Yeah but the only time ive ever seen a boss regain heath is usually when we take like 5% of its health off, die, and come back to see that it regained that 5% back. I dont think iver ever run into the problem where my team has taken a boss to less then half, and the boss regained it all back.

it happens on the phaetons and several other bosses in the absence of watchers. and not just the shields.

It’s the same like our vehicle health system in a way. As long as you don’t cause damage beyond a 25-50-75 percent threshold, the boss can only regain health up to a certain point. For example if I take of 26% health of a vehicle boss and for whatever reason me or my teammates cannot sustain fire, the boss only recharges up to the 75/100 mark of health.

Elite Bosses can only recharge shields and regular Promethans can only recharge those armor if a watcher is nearby. I don’t think enemy health is rechargeable.

Had a Knight go from 33% health, back to full health with no watchers. It happens.

Vehicle damage stays even if you fully recharge the shield, it doesn’t cover base damage to the vehicle.
