Holy -Yoink- is Shatter (Crimson Map Map) a Halo 2 Waterworks remake? Or atleast a spiritual successor to it?

As much as I would love for it to be a Waterworks remake, I doubt that it’s the case, unfortunately. But being a spiritual successor… Who knows? They do look somewhat similar in both environment as well as layout.
Probably not a remake, but at the very least inspired by it

waterworks was such a great sniper map!
I thought the same when I saw it in the video, I’m glad something like its is back water works was amazing in h2.
Waterworks was hands down the best BTB map in Halo 2! I always wondered why they never brought it back in the later halos! God i miss that map!!!
