Not much of a question about them but more of balancing them, I know their planned to get a damage buff to their main cannon.
But what about their Y ability? Of course it’s extremely deadly but when you used it on the same target the second missile or more just flies through the ground or off into space. (I have been informed this is a bug)
Will it ever be patched? If anything Vultures Y that try to target multiple units and it dies the Missile should either re-lock or explode on the ground or in mid flight so it’s not a complete waste of your fire power.
The same thing needs to be done with Blisterback missiles. If they all target the same unit and it dies, the missiles will just pass through the floor harmlessly, which is super frustrating. The kodiak shells don’t disappear if the target they aimed at is no longer there, they explode on impact and create splash damage. The same needs to be done for Blisterbacks and Vultures.
I believe this is an issue with Grizzly missiles and Tank Canister as well.
Something similar was brought up about Johnson’s hero smart missile (of course one takes a Y and cooldown and the other is auto), but the response seemed to be that you can’t do much about it.
At least it’s not as bad as losing an offensive LP (hunter’s brand, glassing beam) because sight of the enemy was lost before it triggered.

Just happened to me last night, 3 times in the same match. So frustrating with that brand! Same scenario every time too. Try to drop it on an advancing army while backpedaling with my slow Captain and goliaths, hunters, and reavers, hoping to get some momentary respite and maybe push the counter attack. Just kidding, get my army completely wiped and now I’ve lost supplies and power for an ability that didn’t even activate! Pretty sure this is why I lost too. #feelsbadman

Maybe they phase the floor but Blisterbacks ALWAYS hit their target like AA unless shroud blocks it.
