why is there no legendary but heroic ?
A lot of people (like me) are not ready to face the Legendary AI yet, so such a playlist would have a very low population count. That’s why Shotty Snipers and Triple Team Slayer were removed from Halo 5. Also, people who overestimate their skill may match in that playlist and ruin the experience for those who are ready. Those are two reasons I can think of, but 343 Industries probably considered Versus AI on Legendary but decided against it for their own reasons.

For reasons I have already stated, a separate online playlist for facing Legendary AI is probably not a good idea. Your best bet is to get some friends who play Halo Wars 2 and enter a Skirmish match. If your friends do not have Halo Wars 2, then just select Legendary AIs as teammates. Once again, though, including Legendary AIs in online play is just won’t work.

i dont see why a seperate playlist is bad except for the potential decrease of finding games t play

Throwing them against legendary AI would suck, and hurt me when I just want a relaxing match to try out some new strats with no negatives. Sure, I can solo 1v3 legendary ai as they’re wuite easy to manipulate and fool, but the majority of new players you see in this playlist can’t. Just play against legendary in skirmish. Feel free to add me on xbox and I’ll hop in with you tonight. Still messing with all the buffed leaders and legendary is the best place to try stuff without people spamming forgehog or cryo exploit.

actually i think ai legendaries got better, i remeber them beeing alit weaker when the game came out but i might have been rusty the last time i fought a legendary ai

When I have to sit there and fight off 3 armies alone by 10 minutes and you’re stuck on tech level 2 with no units, no map control, no defense, something is wrong. It’s a miracle to get randoms that know what they are doing in any game. Halo Wars 2 is no different.

You probably have friends, but playing with randoms against AI is a chore this is why I don’t play team vs with randoms. At least in 1vs1 I can see my mistakes, but when I’m constantly fighting 3 AI that’s bull.
