Why cant we vote between a couple options of games? It’s always been like that and I find it to be quite annoying playing the same few maps over and over again. I’m definitely not the only one who thinks this either.
I played with friends for 5 hours last night and we never got the rig or colussium and got plaza only once. Voting would be so nice. If maps get played over and over they are probably just good maps.
Agreed. Voting is a good system, and this rotation thing doesn’t always work well
Voting is a pain because it causes the same effect, repetition of the same few maps, even worse then a system without voting.
-Yoink- map voting!!! It will only guarantee the same maps get played repeatedly. The real issue is the -Yoink- rotation system that doesn’t play every map once before recycling them. You guys are all begging for something that’s only gonna make the problem worse. Removing map voting was the ONLY thing 343 left out of this game that was actually beneficial. And FYI, Halo has not always had a voting system in place.
I like the idea of a voting system. Playing the same map 4 times in a row is not fun.

It wasn’t always like this. I can’t remember which title introduced the vote, but it doesn’t increase the odds of better map rotation. It does just the opposite. And it takes for freaking ever, especially if there’s a veto option.
All it really does is create the illusion of control without actually giving you any.
It started with Reach. I vividly remember only playing sword base during the beta for hours. It sucked hardcore.
The voting system promoted players to only play maps they felt like playing, which causes excessive repetition as well.
I feel that if we must have a form of a voting system that the veto system is far superior, where you are given a game and a map, 5 out of 8 votes chooses to roll again without a choice to veto again. I think H3 had this? My memory isn’t so good these days.
Having a voting option would be awesome, such a small thing but just makes the game even more fun honestly.
One your wrong in Halo 2 Classic it was random maps and that game was more successful then Halo 5 will ever be. Get your facts right before u come to the forums.
It should be like three maps and one should be from last playlist while the other two should be new maps that have yet to be played on
A veto system is the best way.
Voting needs to be in next month’s update. I’m no developer, but I don’t think it’s that hard of an implementation.
I don’t mind playing truth three times in a row. I just don’t want to play the vomit worthy game type that is assault.
I would prefer a veto. Then there is at least a chance of a different map in it’s current rotation.
