There seems to be a pattern here! OP, I understand what you are saying but a capability like that would be constantly abused.
There is a guy right now on my match, who is just walking, isnt even playing, thats why the vote is needed.
Everyone says it would be abused, but I think that if its done like in counter strike, it would work perfectly:
You cannot vote to kick more than once in a row.
3/4 People must agree (being the one who is not agreeding the one who is going to be kicked)

Nah wouldn’t work that well. Some people would kick other people for their country, some just for fun, some for having the snipe… I understand your problem with afk-mates but this solution wouldn’t work.
It shouldn’t be your decision to kick someone because they aren’t playing to your standards unless they’re betraying people, but there is already a kick system in place for that. This would never be implemented into ranked anyway because there is no JIP and you’re affecting someone’s rank by booting them. In social, you shouldn’t care how people play since there isn’t an official rank, and if you don’t play with a full team then that’s the risk you take.

I haven’t played CS in a good while, but don’t they use custom servers? I wouldn’t have an issue if it was a custom server, but I would if people just randomly booted me from a ranked game and my CSR dropped as well as a quit ban for leaving. It doesn’t matter what rank they’re at since you’ll still run into D-bags no matter what rank you are.

LOL Counter-Strike does not manage this system well AT ALL. 50% of the time the losing team will kick their worst player so they don’t derank as heavily. Players get kicked for being bad all the time in CS, stopping them from learning how to get better at the game and discouraging them from playing the game at all. Not just that, but if you get kicked enough you get a ban.
^How exactly is that a good implementation of the vote kick system? I’m interested.

Well, you still think as we have an inmature community, yet, they all went to PS4, seariously, if you want to have a mature community you gotta give them the oportunity to call votes, on maps, game modes, kick, etc…

In a community where the PvP Warzone scoring system is abused by numerous players who have been farming, you already have compelling evidence of the rather ruthless, selfish attitudes that occasionally prevail in Halo 5 matches.

Dude, I’ve been playing Halo since CE. This wouldn’t have worked in any halo game in my opinion. There will always be and have always been members of the community who are either trolling, griefing, or take the game so seriously that they don’t care who they harm in order to pad their stats.

I don’t think that option should exist…mark my words people will mis-use the kick button because they think it’s ‘funny’. If there not moving then there should be a timer till booted…that way seems to make more sense than letting the community mis-use the kick system, it’s bad enough that some people try to get team-mates to try betray them as it is.
