Any advice for playing Voridus vs Atriox, in particular, utilising combat spoils without getting annihilated by his chosen at tech1?
The Chosen makes things VERY difficult. I’d suggest getting some JPBs out as soon as possible and attacking his minibases. That way his Chosen can’t be everywhere at once and you can still reap the benifibe of Combat Spoils.
Yeah that’s how I’ve found it - very difficult! I go raid 3rd or even second and can get early game control, but it just slips away as the chosen picks everything off… Thx for your input
What works for me is using grunt mines and your grenadier drop to ebb away at the chosen while your brutes beat his mini base and his main base.
I am actually mainly voridus- but i have never used the spoils leader power. I did use it once against AI - just to see if it does anything, but couldnt really tell if something was different when i attacked the base.
How much resources is it supposed to give.

It is very crucial to have as voridus, you can grab so much supply and power off it by hitting minibases. You can harass and keep a steady eco if played right.
Gen 1st, rax 4th and 5th. Split JPB to all minis and main. Sack a rax for a war council and get your hero while pumping grunts (upgrade to shrapnel) and grenadiers. Here’s what it should look like. This strat is depends on multitasking and micro skills. If you can outdo your opponent in those categories, you will win every time if the map is right (Frontier and Mirage are the best for Voridus).

If you’re playing Voridus and not getting Combat Spoils 1st point, you’re not playing Voridus.

This is really helpful, very much appreciated Cars and just what I was looking for, thank you. I had considered shrapnel mines but hadn’t tried it, gen 1st would give me the power I need to get it asap.
