Void's tear pronunciation

I’ve heard people say it both ways, but is it pronounced like tier or tare? Like is it Void’s crying or void’s shred?

It’s definitely supposed to be tear, like shred. I can’t stand when I hear people say it like tier.

I always thought of it as crying. This is because it makes “Void’s” possessive, so it has to be followed up by something you can possess. You can possess the noun tear (crying), but you can’t possess the verb tear (ripping).

It’s both. Intentionally.

I always thought of it as referring to the “tear” in space time that it creates, cause that’s basically what that little black hole is.

That shirt has a tear in it. The shirt’s tear is obvious. Shirt’s Tear.

In the context I think of it as the void tearing apart, or being opened, etc. as it seems to make a lot more sense than a void crying.

I guess that makes sense. The crying one always made more sense to me though.

I guess I had imagined Void as the name of a jackal, so his tear

I’m pretty sure it’s tear snickers

I find it amazing that the correct answer to the question has been posted for over an hour yet there are still people who refuse to click a link and read.

Well, some people still think that the Earth is flat and that life has meaning.
