I loved the idea of alternate Announcers, and was wondering if this’d make a comeback in Infinite too? Particularly, if you’ll have Buck announcing again even if he won’t be in the game proper (Kinda like the Grunt Announcer right now). I just love his reactions and voice and find it terribly hard to go back to the normal voices now - and I really, really love Buck too!
That’s a really interesting thought. I hope that they make alternate announcers as a customization option. If they do, I certainly hope that the list of alternate announcers is expanded.
Not gonna lie, I got the voice pack for Halo 5 because I got tired of listening to Palmer’s voice after so long. Exuberant Witness is much more pleasing to listen to. So if we have to have Palmer again, I’d like to have more voices to replace her with once I get tired of hearing her again.
Maybe they can add Noble Team, Master Chief, Cortana, and Red Team as voice announcers.

I got it mostly for Buck, but Exuberant was a fun change of pace too - and yeah I could never go back to using Palmer. She’s not terrible or anything, but Buck and Exuberant are so much better (No offense to Palmer’s VA)
Haha, Cortana - reminds me of using her Voice in Reach’s Firefight. Such a blast. “Ow, how am I feeling this??” when a plasma weapon overheats.
If Cortana’s not available maybe Roland could take the roll. Heck, while we’re at it why not Sgt Johnson? I mean like, it’s kinda clear the VoW isn’t canon (I can buy Exuberant taking part out of curiosity - even though Bad Blood shows she stayed behind on Genesis - and being an announcer seems like something Buck would do to pass the time, but the Grunt? Not as much.) and Johnson’s already showed up in Halo Wars 2 as a leader for the lulz as well, so why not?
Lot of potential here and it’d give them a reason to put out some optional DLC’ish things too.
Voices of War has my support. It was interesting having someone else telling us how many enemies we killed. I sure hope it’s brought back and expanded.

I used to not like Palmer because she came off as ‘holier than thou’ back in Halo 4. She was kinda arrogant in my opinion, but I warmed up to her. I just get tired of listening to her after so long. But I have nothing against her as a character nor do I have anything against her VA. Exuberant Witness is just really adorable to me and Buck’s always pretty hilarious.
Having more options like Cortana and Johnson as announcers would be amazing! They should definitely add much more! Kinda like Reach firefight
I like the vibe. I don’t mind Palmer but she is lowkey kinda annoying sometimes.

I would like a Laskey voice pack I do like hearing his voice, maybe they can add some Halo Wars voice packs. as someone said earlier a noble team voice pack would be neat too. I would be happy if they let us unlock it with in-game points (like how 5 has a point system) vs paying real money, that’s what stopped me from buying the 5 voice packs.

Noble Team and Laskey would be cool too buuuuut do remember that Voice Acting can be an expensive thing, so realistically speaking there’d be no way they’d be putting a pack like this up for just in-game points, assuming that’s going to be a returning system.
