voices from a crashed pelican - explanation?

I am completeley aware of that this thread possibly doesn’t belong here. I post this here as an easter egg discussion not as a Halo: Reach discussion.

About 9 months ago I found out that in some Halo: Reach maps voices can be heard from a crashed pelican. I asked on bungie forums, but all I got was an agressive reply that it had been known for ages. However when I asked what it meant I got nothing.

So, after all this time I would finally like to know what those voices actually mean, or does anyone even know, because I found them very interesting.

You mean these radio conversations? They’re just chatter from other Marines on Reach.

edit Here’s another link.

It’s radio conversation easter eggs. It freaked me out when I first played Halo 3

Well at least this one wasn’t on that list. Well here you go http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-KfW-5-gXII&feature=related

I don’t think this sounds like a radio chatter

E: When I was wondering alone around the Highlands for the first time this scared me like h3ll.

Do you know where I can find a video or transcript of the transmissions from the phantoms and pelicans? I’ve been searching alot but can only find the reach radios.
