In Halo ODST and Reach you could unlock firefight voices such as John-117, Srgt. Johnson, Cortana, and noble team.
In Halo 5, spartans talk in combat now, such as for friendly fire or getting a power weapon or reloading. It’s called Spartan Chatter.
So, I had a thought. What if you could unlock different voices from REQ packs? Like Fireteam Osiris, Blue Team or other characters that were in Halo 5 that will fit the canon. I think it would be really cool if you could get Linda’s voice for example, wear Argus armour to fit the part. It would add a new level of immersion to the game and I think a lot of people would really grind to get these.
You could roleplay your favourite spartan in multiplayer!

I’d love to see some end-game req’s added to the game, as well as “armor modifications” like reach had. Inclement weather, GBP, etc are all examples of these.
Currently, if you spend your points properly you can unlock everything by level 125 ish (this has been my experience, being level 127 with everything unlocked). Since this is not even 50% of the way to the max rank, I’m going to have quite a large amount of req points to spend by the time I get to level 146 (which is not max). End game req packs which cost 50k, 100k, 250k, 500k, 750k, and even 1M req points would be another thing to further enhance the value of the endgame grind.
These packs should unlock specific customization items such as armor effects (inclement weather), armor modifications (knives, ammo holsters, helmet lights), voice overs (Johnson, Osiris/Blue, exuberant), and perhaps even whole new sets of armor for those willing to grind to stand out from the crowd (hayabusa, flaming ninja, katana, EOD).
To ensure balancing, these packs should NOT unlock usable reqs that could change the tide of battle (new extremley powerful weapons, vehicles, etc), to avoid the highest level players having an even more significant influence over the battle.
Tl;DR Yeah I think it’d be a great idea to add voice overs, but add them alongside armor mods and special armors in super high-value req packs to deeper increase the value of the endgame grind.
It is such a great idea! I thought of this too several weeks ago. We need to rally people! I’m sure it is possible to add that option too.
