I see some basic answers but I am hoping to get more info or a email I can write to for a specific answer ?
“This account has been banned from using voice online for one week.” Its only my son who plays online . Can anyone give me a better answer of how this could happen ?
Voice bans occur when people file a complain via Xbox Live or when a player is repeatedly muted by others in the game.
Many players mute everybody in the game they don’t want to hear, regardless of whether they are talking or not. After a certain amount of times being muted (sorry I don’t know the exact number or if there even is one) the matchmaking system automatically assumes the player is being too loud or generally being annoying and bans them accordingly. The problem is that the system cannot tell the difference between players who or muted for being obnoxious, loud etc and the player who just muted for convenience and just hands out the bans.
This way many unjustified voice bans are given without good cause.
