Trash talking is fine if it is in good fun but some people take it too far. Like if someone has a bad game then you get on them for being crappy, and start calling names, telling them that they suck and should quit now. I am being rather light here based on some of the comments I have heard online. So I mute most people unless I know them and party up with them.
If you got banned it was most likely your own fault. No sympathy here.

PS3 has no party chat and about 5% of the online population actually use mics
Sometimes i wish we didnt have party chat…i miss halo two when litterally everyone in the game spoke…and ghost recon two…ahhh i miss xbl gen1
