I understand the objective of putting a voice ban system in place. To silence the ones that use unpleasant or disruptive language on halo4. But i feel this feature just as in Halo Reach has made the game more anti social.
Some players fear staying in game chat because they dont want to be marked by this ban. Others that have been hit by this ban cant talk to random people.
If we can just take a couple of seconds to think back to the days of Halo3. There was no Voice ban/Automute system. If you dont want to hear some one it was easy enough to mute them in game. When Halo3 was in its prime it was difficult to find a lobby with some one with out a microphone. It was much more of a socially fun game. What i don’t understand is why impliment this system which only seems to be making it more anti social every day.
Of course there will be trash talkers, screamers, and music blasters, but to have them already muted by every one who has never played with them before is taking the experience away. Halo4 ESRB rating is M for mature(17+) with the warning that game experience may vary online. I think it is to expect a couple unpleasant people but some times its fun just to argue with them.
I’d like to hear some other opinions.
