Voice and Text chat not working MCC PC

Fellow Spartains,

I currently have 180hrs in MCC PC and while I am loving re-living the glory days of halo, I am experiencing an issue that I am unable to pin point. I intermittently find that my voice chat and text chat does not work. For instance, I will be playing with friends, and they claim that they are able to see people talking in text / voice chat, though neither of these are visible to me. I have my chat settings configured so that I can see / hear both my own team and all voices.

What’s interesting is that in about 10% of matches, my text / voice chat works. On very rare occasions, I am able to see the text chat dialog. Also, I have found that whatever I type in chat is not visible to any of the people that I’m playing with, as confirmed with the guys that I’m playing with.

I have checked my privacy settings both in-game and on xbox.com, in MCC itself, disabling all of my input / output devices for sound in Windows, though no solution is found for this intermittent issue.

Little late, but I was having some friends that had the same issue. Turned out to be an issue within their Microsoft account privacy settings.

Having the exact same issue :confused: I even put a ticket in for it 2 weeks ago with no response. I hope you see this. Xbox privacy settings are all on “allow”. No idea what to do at this point.

Same, it’s extremely annoying. I can’t see my achievements in GameBar either.
