Visually Impaired Gamer here and MCC has an unplayable bug

The brightness is bugged, I need to play on a high brightness and I go to change the setting and in the menus its changed but as soon as I play the game its very low.
Can anyone help me???

So you increase the brightness while in the main menu but when you get into the game the brightness setting change resets? That’s annoying. Maybe try getting into a game first and then changing the brightness or failing that maybe just change the brightness of your monitor/TV?

It’s also possible you may not have set the brightness for the current game you’re playing. Each Halo game has a unique setting for brightness and I believe the default is for Halo Reach.

^ This. And the fact that at the top of the Video tab is “UI Gamma” so it only affects the menues, not the games. Scroll down to “Video Settings” to find “Gamma” with a ‘Select’ button (needs to be set for all games (could probably use the “set for all games” button))
