Visors

So do the different visors actually make a difference to your game play?

Purely cosmetic.

The black visor helps in that it doesn’t give off a glare. It’s also a color that doesn’t call attention to itself. Some of those visors are quite bright and are in contrast to the map color palette. This makes those bright colors show up in a person’s periphery. Which make them more susceptible to being seen.

I have yet to really notice when anyone paid attention to the visors. Very few of them are colored exotically, and I haven’t seen many people wear other visors besides legendary.
But if you are correct, all the more reason to continue wearing LOCUS.

Yeah there’s no actual gameplay value for the different visors. I guess HaloFan kind of has a point but in my experience the visor colors haven’t really played a big role in changing the course of a game.

Now if you’re taking screenshots… Then visor colors make all the difference.

It was cool in the campaign when each character had a different visor and therefore a different colored HUD. But, in multiplayer they don’t have that feature. I think it would have been a good feature to have when Guardians was released. Maybe and hopefully it’ll be an option in Halo 6 multiplayer.
