I don’t know if this means I’m getting close to the end of silver req packs, but every pack I open has at least 1 visor. Last had 2… seriously I’ve gotten like 12 visors in the last 3 or 4 days. Just curious if it’s just me or what.
And really it wouldn’t be so bad if they were more unique, but the difference between most is so minor I can barely see the difference.
Like all the update visors.
We’re blue / purple.

I just got to the end of silver req packs. I’m guessing that’s why I was getting all those visors.

This is my biggest problem with the visors! Why would you wear a glacier visor when you already have the recruit visor? I don’t understand what 343 was thinking when they added so many duplicate visors. It must have been something like, “there’s not enough colors but we still need to add more visors to bloat up the req pool because MICROTRANSACTIONS” and we end up with like 5 of the same green visor with differences so tiny and subtle, they aren’t noticeable in the field at all.
I remember in Halo Reach when I unlocked the gold visor, it was satisfying because I knew people in multiplayer would see me and know I bought the gold visor. In Halo 5 I just unlocked an ultra-rare saturnine visor and people are just going to think “nice autumn visor”
There’s too many visors…so many of them look the same.
Like Nate said, I think 343 added so many in just to saturate or bloat reqs to slow down collecting armors and helmets.
Reach had a good visor system IMO, but could’ve done with more of them.

I’m not sure if this is real or not because I don’t pay attention to the visors or armours in this game, but if it is, that’s just sad.
that is normal, but really… we have 800 blue visor! 300 red and everyone are similar!
I open silver packs and all I get are mongooses and weapons. When will I get armor and Visors. I am SR19 and still stuck with the Recruit Visor!
I am now level 34 and I have opened countless gold packs but I only have 1 visor, can anyone help?
There are only so many colors to work with, but they had to add something for the updates.
Why are there so many purple visors though? Do we really need that many?
I’m having trouble getting any visors at all, I’m level 50 and only have 4 visors yet a ton of everything else…

Because opening gold packs is bad when you start halo 5. You need to grind silver packs dude. Until you get all the common through rare out of the way with the silver packs you’ll have a bunch of visors as well. Then you can continue to gold packs. It’s how the req system works. Like would you rather spend 10K on a gold pack only to get 2 uncommon things? Or would you rather spend 5K on a silver to get 2 rare items for a better deal?
343i Color designer: (you know the guy that looked like he was wearing a neon nightclub for an outfit in the video): “What you guys don’t like our visor mixes? But we have blue combined with red and purple! And Purple with a little blue and red, and then Red with a little purple and blue! Wait we got more!!..”
Seriously, who picked the visor color schemes? 7 of them are completely interchangeable, you know the ones I’m talking about.
Off topic to visors, but I wish they’d bring back Reach effects like flaming helmet or inclement weather.
