Do we even get these without the controllers? If not, that’s when I’m disappointed in paying to unlock things. If there is other means to obtaining them, then I think it’s a good idea for the “early access” to these items.
I’m fine with these being part of the controller bonus, but they must be able to unlock via random loot in the REQ packs. Just like the pre order bonuses for the H5 game itself. Buying the controllers should only be a way of guaranteeing 100% you will get the visor. But we should all have a chance of getting them in REQ loot.
If you ask me, the standard gold spartan visor that has been iconic for spartans in Halo since the beginning…should be in there from the get go…almost as a stock option.

Well I do know if ya’ll want the Master Chief controller I suggest ya’ll get it quick. Amazon is already sold out and the manager at my local Gamestop was told that the stores aren’t selling them because they are a very limited quality. I was able to buy mine from the website so just an incite to my Halo friends.

I know this, but it’s slightly different. The preorders can vary based on store. The point is the game is available to as many people want the game, so of course they won’t make small stuff exclusive. On the other hand, the controller items are more exclusive to the controller, and they seem pretty limited. And as you know, limited things are exclusive, hence the name “limited.”
It’s annoying these controllers aren’t the Elite ones.
I’m buying an Elite, so there’s no point me getting the Master Chief one

Though some things are best left unique you know there are some things people can’t unlock and if that happens it happens. I have both pre ordered so I’ll be rocking the blue visor with Lockes armor

I tweeted Josh Holmes about this, and he confirmed the visors that come with the controllers ARE obtainable in game via Req packs. Everyone can get them! Yay!
In other news: The Fotus armor is also obtainable in game but the emblem that comes with the console is not. Meaning only people who buy the console can get that emblem.

It works out perfectly for me. I’ll be needing a new controller by October, so of course I’m going to buy Chief’s edition.
The visor is news to me, so it just adds a cherry on top.
Just give me MC (Halo 5 version) Mark VI armor and i’ll be a happy Spartan.
