villainization and obfuscation

So it seems like Master Chief is being set up as scape goat or bad guy. I think it falls in line with the Harvey Dent quote from the Dark Knight “You either die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain.”, but this is more likely to be like what happens to Batman at the end of the movie rather than what happen to Dent in becoming Two-Face. The worst case scenario will probably be some type of no win no win situation in which Master Chief has to do something like destroy a highly populated human inhabited planet because of a flood outbreak.

ONI labeling the Master Chief a traitor is a good thing, man. They’ve done some seriously shady sh*t, and just because MC decided to take off doesn’t mean he is a bad guy, it just means that he knows what is best.
He’s the Hero the Galaxy DOESN’T deserve, but it’s the one it needs, desperately. The whole point of Chief finding his humanity was for him to break the hold the UNSC had over him. I love John-117, but he has been a puppet for too long. Despite his admirable qualities, he’s still a brainwashed war machine. Now he’s a sentient War Machine.
