I really hope Halo 4 brings back vidmasters because Halo anniversary let me down by not giving any that gave us new armour (Can’t remember name looks like Marathon helmet) and no gamerscore. Anyone else miss the late nights struggling with four friends laughing your -Yoinks!- off and drinking game fuel or whatever other unhealthy food/drinks you can find so you can enjoy what little time left you have before the real world comes for you?

You’ve got to be joking. Just because there’s (possibly) no recon armor/reward, that doesn’t make them unnecessary. One thing halo needs right now are fun challenges, whether or not there’s a reward accorded. It urges the community to gather their friends or fellow community members and make use of a game mode that they don’t commonly play (i.e campaign). I’ve enjoyed doing annual and deja vu, and I’m pretty sure I can find a hell lot of people who did too.

Yes, it would give something to work for.
I dont even care if there was some reward to them or not, I just would like some really hard achievements to get (even better if they war worth 0 gamerscore, that way I feel like you have to really be dedicated to getting it) I loved the vidmasters, I haven’t gotten all of the halo 3 and odst ones, but some of my favorite halo moments came from trying to get the halo 3 annual achievement, that was just so fun
