How many of you would like to see the return of the Vidmaster achievements in Infinte? For Infinite I would like to see the return the Vidmaster challenges, make them ridiculously hard and lock a throwback armour set like Recon or EVA behind them. I always thought they were the coolest achievements from Halo 3 and ODST and bringing them back for Infinite would be a cool homage to the Bungie Halo’s.
Vidmaster started out as a challenge run for Bungie’s Marathon series. I’m not sure but I think 343 doesn’t use the Vidmaster title for challenges out of respect for Bungie’s “ownership” of the term for lack of a better word (I don’t think there’s any actual legal rights involved in the word Vidmaster but I might be wrong).
I do generally like the idea of a group of challenges all under a single hardcore banner though.
Yes, I definitely want to see more of that concept in the new game. Halo 3 is a great example of those big challenges. Reach was also a good example but for the daily challenges. I’d like to see both.

If i remember correctly, Halo Wars 2 had Vidmaster titled achievements tho? I doubt they wouldn’t use it because of Bungie making it in the first place, however 343 now fully following their own path, i can see them making their own version of them.

I think that it’s pretty likely that the daily and weekly challenges from Reach will make a return for Infinite. It’s a good incentive for players to log on at least once a week.

I’d like to see the Vidmasters make a return as well. I enjoyed the new challenge and social interaction required to unlock them.

I like Recon. Even without it being rare. I’d rather them design a new armor (that looks good, of course - nothing like most of the Halo 4/5 armors) and made that the ‘new recon’ in a sense.

Yes, there were 2 in Spartan Strike, but I don’t think 343 developed that one right? Vanguard I think it was?
I would like to see something like those again. Can’t tell you how many time it took me and my friends to get the deja vu challenge done from halo odst.
YES more challenges and events rather than random loot from leveling and loot boxes!!! Keeps the rewards a lot more unique and special.
