Videogames in the Halo-Universe

Are there Videogames in the Halo-Universe?
And what are that for games? Shooter? RPGs?
And how do they play online? Just planet-wide or galaxy-wide?
What do you think

The Spartan games are sort of a game. Like, they are training exercises, yes, however they are done on a data pad plus Roland even comments on them being great games in a Spartan’s free time.

Spartan assault and Spartan strike are both in universe too pretty sure.

I think the OP meant do the people in the halo universe play any video games. The answer is we don’t know. But I will laugh my -Yoink- off if we see them playing BF 105 at some point.

The elder scrolls: 2552: SKYLO!!!

Going back to my point of the Spartan games. By the looks of it, they are only used by Infinity to train Spartan-IVs but they have been mentioned to be used as a pass timer for the Spartans in their down time. I’m sure there is some form of gaming out there.

I can’t imagine why not.

If there are video games, and since the Halo franchise is owned by microsoft, I’m sure the Xbox console of the 26th century would be the leading brand. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’d imagine video games would work similarly to War Games and military simulations, except less advanced and tactical. It’s even possible that Kinnect has become an advanced virtual head-set which allows players to literally “jump in” to their games. I wouldn’t be surprised if this wasn’t brought up at least once as an easter egg of sorts. I believe Halsey had a stack on Xbox 360s in Halo: Reach and there was an actual Master Chief action figure in Halo: Escalation.

All the video games we have now today like Mario, mass effect, battlefield, metroid, ears of war, assassins creed, etc except for Halo obviously, are in the Halo universe. But as for video games in the 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 25th, and 26th centuries, I have no idea other than militaristic simulations like War games and Tac pads. But those are military games, not citizen games

Well Spartan assault was called a tactical simulator in the main menu so I would assume Spartan assault is within halo universe and the war games onboard the infinity which is ran by Roland is also a thing
