As you can see in this video he falls in front of me but still gets a ninja kill.
On my screen he was in front of me as well. My melee even came out before his WHILE I was already behind him.

I’ve had some pretty shocking latency issues, where I get killed round corners and melees don’t register because I was technically already dead when I pressed it, feels like the same issue
Whatever it is. It happens pretty often. I even go around corners with my own melee sometimes. The rest of the game plays fine tho. Everything will be good until a melee interaction and that’s when everything starts getting glitchy
Yeah I have the same experience, everything works ok except for melees. My main issue is trades pretty much never work, I get the melee in, the noise is there, the hit marker is there, but no damage is dealt and a second later I drop dead. That happens in almost every game and it’s very frustrating, if it was my slow reactions that would be fair enough, but the game actually registers my melees, they just often do no damage. I highly suspect the lack of player collision is making the latency issue a lot worse

I had a dude walk through me while I was doing a melee for mine to swing at air and his to count as a ninja even though he just walks through me. The melee in the game is weird. It has the same built in parry system that 5 did as far as red baring someone, but the standard melee is annoying as hell. Theres too many instances where lunge may or may not work, crazy high ping games…a dude legit used the sword on me twice with the slice sounds and I took 0 damage. The dude 100% must have thought I was cheating. I was really surprised he even stood in the game after that. I mean its not every single game. There’s game that work fine, the melee works fine for both teams it seems…but I legit feel a sense of stress in melee range sometimes now because these instances seriously frustrate the player badly.
