I’m seeing some posts regarding a lack of evidence about cheaters existing.
Here is my youtube playlist with all the cheaters I have captured (I missed recording some because I was too tired to do so):

I disagree with the opinion that PC players should be separated from console, because that does not solve the problem for anyone playing on PC. Us non-console players also hate all the cheaters that are out there and punishing us by being the only ones against them is not a solution. The cheating needs to be addressed directly.
I’ve already submitted tickets for each and every one of these cheaters, but the automated system does not give a lot of confidence as to the actions taken.
It is unfortunate that cheaters run rampant. I have encountered a very infamous one named WH0R0NAVIRUS. He has reached Onyx due to his aimbotting and wallhacking. He and the rest must be stopped and unfortunately…separating PC and Xbox players must be the way, or at least as an option.
Yeah I’ve already submitted tickets for all these players already. Even though the ticket system for reporting is convoluted, my real gripe is that they ask for a media attachment with a 49MB upload limit. Like, that is not anywhere nearly enough to show off what a player is really doing in a game. I link to my relevant youtube videos but it doesn’t seem like they are willing to open the link and watch the videos.
I understand that the majority of players are probably on console, and this would help out that portion of the community, but as someone who sold their console to switch to PC only gaming, it only pains me to hear that request from a large subset of the playerbase. I already run into enough cheaters as-is, and putting me into more games like that will absolutely kill my will to play anymore.
they really need to put an anti cheat as soon as possible and couple of features like kill cam (u can skip if u want, like Rainbow six siege) as well as in game report button (while playing and during theater mode).
The solution to cheaters shouldn’t be to ban them, but to put them on their own servers with other cheaters. Let them have super long wait times and only play with other cheaters and see how that goes.
You’ve got some great videos there honestly. I got through the first 3, looking forward to getting through the rest. 2 very clear wall hackers, 1 of which using some for of aim enhancement.
I will say though that the “not so obvious” really had only one sus moment. In fact there were a few points where I went “woah that was weird”, but rewatched the point a few times and it made a bit more sense when looking at the context of the situations. The only point that did seem iffy was when he looked right at a player through the walls and you pointed it out. But other than that a few of your observations could be explained if outlines were turned off. Most of the situations had direct sightlines with the player, or could be seen/interacted with by other players. I dunno what rank this was at, but it was clear this guy was very proficient at the game just by the way he was using grenades.
But this is good stuff. Keep it up. Glad you’re doing what you can to provide examples, and using the annoyingly convoluted system.
The first clip seems like a pretty good explanation why 343 added outlines to the game. The guy is already aiming at other players heads before seeing them.
So far I only noticed people firing the pistol abnormally fast…
I wish all games just tossed all cheaters into the same server instead of banning. Let them have their sick fun together.
Cheating is rampant in all games and on all platforms. Calling for the removal of crossplay is blaming the victims. Most PC players aren’t cheating. It’s trivial to use a mouse on console, and inexpensive to buy a modded controller with custom board that gives aimbot on console. Game vendors need to step up their game and start attacking cheating at its source, rather than using wave-based bans that only take effect after the damage is done, or playing favourites over a misconception about where cheating comes from.
I realise that a strong reason that 343 haven’t already added an option to disable cross-play is to simply avoid the population dying out.
If they don’t do something soon, the population will die out anyway and players will leave in droves just as they did with Call of Duty WARZONE, with Activisions/Infinity Wards failure to address or do ANYTHING about the Hackers in that game.
I love Halo and I do love those quick search matches with having crossplay enabled but I would 1000% more want a slower search time with console only if it meant I didn’t have to play against players that are tracing my movement through the walls with wall hacks.
Unpopular opinion here but I blame streamers for normalising hacking and cheating in games to up their viewer count. Nobody wants to watch a streamer that gets wrecked every game, they want to watch them win.
So cheats have become a normalised and viable option to perform better and keep viewers entertained.
Cheating when I played MP heavily back in the mid 2000’s would have Microsoft brick your console. Bungies ban hammer was also ruthless. Now players today are harder to monitor due to the sheer number of hacking/cheating, it’s just out of control at this point…
I disagree with your disagree as a co sold player it heavily solves the issue for us. I mean why make us have to deal with it lol longer while a fix gets made.
I still think cross play should be a option to disable, while the PC world can figure out what’s the best fix for them.
Naw I’m good with the option to disable Crossplay, I mean of some console Ayers want to play with PC and risk the whole hacker thing go ahead but me I’d turn that off the second it becomes an option.
Why should I not want that option and just enjoy a game without that small risk
