Hi Everyone

For those who are still having trouble on downloading the Halo 5 Guardians Beta for the Halo Master Chief Collection disk, I made a video on how to download the beta. Video link below.

Also, for those who got the MCC disk, it should come with a nightfall QR code and 25 character code. You need that to download the Nightfall.

Hope this helps people and this is open to anyone who found other ways of downloading it.

The beta will be out in an hour so, see you all there!

I successfully downloaded the Beta (around 10GB) I can start it but ofcourse can’t get past the main menu. Is it correct that I can’t download the update yet? I heard there was an additional 8GB update. Will this pop up as soon as it’s playable? (which is already in about 30 minutes!!!)

Yeah the game hasn’t opened yet. So around 12 est/11 cst, it will be open.
Then the new update will be up.

I am going to posted a live update. I may possible stream if i can get twitch to work, but most probably going upload on youtube what you should expect to see.

I am only giving some guidance to help people have fun with Halo and keep the community alive.

I am able to play the beta but I haven’t received any update so far! What 's up?

I can’t seem to get past the matchmaking lobby anymore. A red triangle is standing next to slayer. When I hit it, nothing. It also gives the sound when you can’t go further. Already tried restarting the beta, hard resetting the console, nothing.

Hope you guys can help out! I already seen some bug threads but could not find anything there.

There are a bunch of bugs in it, but thats fine. Good thing the feedback on this forums is great, to see thing what i don’t see.

I just have a huge issue with the ranking system, like getting docked 7-21 points for performance despite a solid game like 16-5, 21-3, 12-9. It’s stupid.

They put up the new maps, but they are the same except Truth looks like a crash site and Eden is basically Empire at night.

Anyways, you manage to get the game up?
