Video is nothing but truth

I’ve seen the whole thing and makes me second guess to coming back to this game at all.

TLDR?

Why post a video and not give your take or summarize it?

Because you would just go “It’s feature complete” co op doesn’t matter………. He makes good points I’d recommend to watch it

That’s a lot of assumption from me asking for your personal elaboration of the video.

So sell me on watching the video lol

Why would you deal with all this garbage and half assary of a halo game when mcc has everything infinite doesn’t have?

Depends on what I want to play honestly.

I do enjoy Halo Infinite’s gameplay even if it is getting increasingly rather stale with very little in terms of post release development.

MCC certainly offers more to do, but that doesn’t mean I’m going cram the fire hose between my lips and crank the faucet all the way on.

I’ve only got 1-3 hours of gaming depending on the day, sometimes I want to play Infinite, other days I want to hop on MCC, sometimes it’s none of the above. Hundreds of choices of games, just because some are less polished than others doesn’t mean they’re any less fun than another. Hell I miss the DayZ early access days when you could die by climbing a ladder, that was a great time.

I havnt had this game installed in 3 months. No co op still and no forge and the push for us to go the store is where the real development time went. And a small selection of maps that get old fast

Ok

That’s fair, nobody is forcing you to like the game. It’s clear you’re not sold on it. Wanting more from a game especially Infinite is completely understandable.

Yeah that could detract from the fun if that’s what you’re into.

Forge has honestly become way too convoluted for me, and I don’t have friends to play co-op with.

I dunno man, having played countless other titles where I felt a definite push to buy things in game (both P2W and cosmetic only), I really haven’t felt that kind of pressure in Infinite honestly.

They’re clearly not pushing hard enough lol

True, RASU is getting old. Also kinda surprised that even after 11 years, standard Hemorrhage vehicle combat and ranged combat is still unbelievably busted.

It’s hard to justify giving this game a second chance

I thought the same thing after spending $50 on MCC, waiting in line at midnight only to get home and find out the game wasn’t fully playable for months.

20 year old me really didn’t have much going on in life to think that way about a video game lol. Should’ve been thinking that way about the ex I was hung up on :joy:

Don’t get hung up over a game man, if you don’t like it move onto something you enjoy more like the MCC, don’t waste your energy convincing others to hate a game they’re already bashing.

By this time mcc was having more updates and way more communication. We’ve had radio silence for a long time

Sure, it was fully playable within about 2-3 months after launch.

To be honest I had moved on within a month after losing $50 on a title I could only play about 50% of. I didn’t give it a second chance until it released on PC, and truth be told I’m quite happy having spent another $60 on a title I picked up 5-6 years prior.

Communication hasn’t been great, in fact the content of the communication has been rather stale, but there is a rather sizeable amount of accessible communication that goes against the idea there was “radio silence” over the past 6 months.

Like I said man, don’t get hung up on the game if it’s not up to your standards to warrant your time. Just move on.

Are you accepting of sub par releases it sounds like you are

Sure am, I really only play games that I have fun with regardless of the state they’re released in as long as they’re functional in the areas I have interest in playing.

Besides, critiques mature and develop further the more you play them.

Part of the problem they know they can relate garbage and patch it later tiered of that trend

This for the win.

Infinite has a lot of short comings… lots.

But I’m having so much fun with what we’ve got so far. I’m lucky that I don’t really care about grinding XP, challenges, or customisation. And I’m fully accepting of my ranking without getting hung up on how many points I won or lost on that last game.

Season 2 is coming.

And Forge soon after.

Just gotta hang in there a bit longer. Or, if it’s making you unhappy - do something else for a while.

Absolutely, but it’s not like 343i has pioneered this idea, or that it’s exclusive to the Halo franchise. It’s been far too prevalent by the gaming industry as a whole for well over a decade now.

Does that mean that as gamers and consumers we’re not allowed to have fun with new releases even if they’re in subpar state?

It’s also entirely possible these changes could fall spectacularly flat.

Only time will tell, it sure smiled favorably on titles like Destiny, MCC, and No Man’s Sky.

I hope things can turn around for the title. It would be great to get another strong Halo title like it was at launch.

I’m at the point if it’s broken and unfinished like infinite I won’t play it. I’m looking for basic features…… complete games. Which is why I have been more into jrpgs or Japanese games they actually ship a COMPLETE product. On top of no micro transactions
