I don’t know about you, but when I saw the Bioshock 2 trailer a couple years ago I’ve always wondered why they haven’t created a CGI movie based off the video game. Companies such as RoosterTeeth have been taking advantage of this industry for years, and doing a good job too… But I think it can be done better. I have a list of notable games with great CGI/Launch trailer in them, as well as great story. (Most of them)
-Oddworld: Munches Odyssey
-Bioshock: (Launch Trailer)
-Halo Wars (Great cut scenes of coarse, -Yoink- campaign in my opinion)
-Halo: -1-4
-God of War
-Gears of War
-Assassins Creed
(You should really take a look at Munches Odyssey, it was made in 2001 and still provides a beautifully detailed cinematic.)
Although they are making an Assassins creed movie (either that or mini series)I once again wait patiently for an actual animation of a game with a great story that we all know and love. I just hope soon one of those 2 hour film comes out in theaters
