And the multiplayer balance is broken and bug plagued.
Oh come on. Give halo 4 a break. There are a lot of faults, but that that doesn’t change the fact that this is a great game. It’s definitely goty material.

No. No no no. Amazing story, best in depth story by FAR. Followed the books as well to my knowledge.
Multiplayer has potential. Needs fixing. If they put Halo 4 in for GOTY people would be mad because theres no way in Hell CoD BO2 would get it.
Because it didn’t deserve a GOTY nomination.
Then again, it deserved it WAY more than Mass Effect 3 did so I guess swap the two and I would be fine; of course you could swap a pile of dirt with that game and I’d be happy. I’m just glad Walking Dead won. Now there’s a game that really deserved it.

The story was bad for some people because it was different,some people dont like to feel emotion and would rather shoot grunts and run in a straight line from the flood. Multiplayer has a few bugs that are getting pacthed but it certainly isnt completely broken, halo 4 probably has the best balance for any game with customizable loadouts. However it’s still not completely balanced because of the dmr and boltshot, but besides that its pretty good. Heres the deal, halo 4 had to be a game to get new fans and rejuvinate the old community. It did both of these, but at a price. Many old players hate the game because of the changes, but some like me are alright and will stick with the game until it ends. Halo 4 beat out CoD BO2 this year (in reviews, but not in sales) because of the changes they made. They were necessary for the survival of halo after the loss of over 3 million fans from reach (more if you consider the number that left after they bought the game and hated it). I dont like every change they made, but its still a good game, no matter how casual it has become. So just stick with the franchise and maybe you’ll find a better halo experience. After all, Rome wasnt built in a day, and the same can be said for the new halo trilogy. Just stick with it and halo can become how it used to be.
Guys, the VGA’s are garbage anyway. What respectable award show would give anything to the CoD franchise?
Also, Samuel L Jackson as a host? Hah. What a stupid choice.
Halo 4 was hands down one of the greatest stories I’ve ever played. And that may just be because I’m so invested in the universe. Though I’ve had games where I’m super invested go south, such as GoW 3.
