Dear 343,
Please get your crap together on all fronts that you messed Halo 5 up on. But for right now I only have one complaint:
Add back the bloody voting system, or at the very least voting!
I just spend an hour installing the Ghosts of Meridian update for no other singular purpose than to play Skirmish on Darkstar. I was really looking forward to having a new Warzone map to test since all the others are complete and utter garbage. After an hour of searching and leaving matches I didn’t find one damn match on Darkstar… It’s the brand new map and it barely comes up. Arena and Warzone both need voting or veto options so you can actually put yourself out in the lobby, showing that you want to play a map or at the least don’t want to play the nonsense that’s currently selected.
The whole point of voting in the first place, which was said in what I’m pretty sure was a Reach ViDoc, was and I quote with paraphrasing “Get yourself heard, let your opinion count.” Seems to be a notion that’s lacking greatly in Halo over the past few years.

Though, it’s hard to disagree with someone that says “and I quote with paraphrasing” without a hint of irony.
I like the randomness in map rotation but I see your point, new maps should be featured more often but the return of voting will bring just as many complaints.
Would be nice if everything was in a linear order to reduce map replaying so much
I have only play Skirmish a few times since release. You are just being unlucky and you are getting the same map over again. They weight it so it appears a little more in the first 1-2 weeks but then they put pack the rotation to its normal state. Even with the weighting I am not getting that map too often

I can’t say that I miss or event want a vote/veto system int he game. I see a fair distribution of game types without it. It forces people to play a wider variety of maps and modes.
I agree bring it back. I went on warzone all I play is darkstar It is a good map but since it’s all that is picked it’s get boring. Darkstar isn’t my favorite map but it’s good if battle of nocus was always picked well I would be happy but no its always darkstar or espace from arc
People think that Voting and Veto’ing will stop the quiters, it won’t.
If people vote for a map that they don’t want, they will still quit, so it serves no perpose, haha.

Your right and wrong because I know there’s ppl who will play on any map like myself. And yeah its ture that voting won’t stop the quilters
A few people in here saying they “like the randomness”. There’s only 5 maps, and none of them are spectacular or special, so it’s not exactly like some amazing lotto pull every time you get a map.
Just got a match on Darkstar also, it’s terrible; packed and far too small so I shan’t be playing Warzone again for a while. Seems like it’d work well with Warzone turbo, but god forbid 343i keep a fun playlist.

Try about a dozen+ maps, not 5 unless you count warzone only. I prefer the current setup cuz even with voting you’d see the same maps get voted the majority of the time. H3 was pit, guardian, there’s another one but can’t remember right away, anyways then to h4 you’d see ragnarok, haven, and exile 90% more than anything else. The current setup is fine and a much better improvement IMO. At least with h5 there’s more variety in maps, just wish game modes had it now.

So instead of the 5 maps that you hate…you get to have another one of those 5 maps that you hate…nice.
Veto sucks. The community can’t handle it. Everyone hits that veto button unless they see that popular map that they love. Then we play those popular maps way too often, essentially ruining them.

Hahaha. Yes! This is exactly why the Veto system SUCKS! Live with some variety people!
Yeah as much as I LOVE playing Torque every other game, I really think there should be some kind of system.

Temporarily? Torque was released on February 24th, and it’s still the map that appear the most
I don’t know why they arent doing the same with Tyrant
