Alrighty, I’m going to post my likes and dislikes about the new first look trailer, and I will try and input my thoughts. I’ll start with my dislikes.
Dislikes:
Apparent UNSC walking mech. I’ve never been a fan of huge, walking mechs. I let the Covenant get away with it because they’re aliens, but when humans do it, I can’t accept it.
The Spartan IV’s helmet. To me, it looks odd and I think the visor is too small. It does kind of remind me of the E.O.D helmet.
Sprint seems to be returning. I have never been a big supporter of Sprint. People always use it to run away from the bad choices they make.

The Battle Rifle is returning, and it looks even better.
The H.U.D looks great. It is nice and simple.
After look at the Shield Bar from the H.U.D, it seems that the health/shield system will be like that of Halo 3, and not Halo: Reach.
Possible Clan symbols. Again, after looking at the H.U.D, you can see that the Red and Blue teams have different pictures, but there’s more than one person per team.
They’re creating “Multiplayer levels from scratch”. That is great news.
Pause the video at 2:31 and you’ll see concept art of what seems to be an UNSC ship, heading towards a planet/Shield World.
The map Wraparound looks amazing. I can not wait to play it.
In everything they do, they’re trying to make it a more cinematic experience. To me, this is also great news. But I’m sure many of you would disagree.
Movement seems to be like Halo 3.
Perks. I am excited to see where 343i goes with this.
I know that’s not as in-depth as some people would do. But that’s what I came up with.
I agree on all points, save the perks. No matter how well they implement perks, it’s going to cause an uneven playing field. I want an EVEN and BALANCED playing field. Don’t you?

Well, yes, I do. I’m still a little confused on the perk situation. I heard that the perks are cosmetic? Just like armour pieces.
But if perks do change gameplay, then I don’t think I would like it.
The only things i don’t like is sprint and the fact that there will be perks. We have to stop trying to be cod and just be halo. Frank said that they are putting perks in not because of cod but to me that just sounds like a lie. Cod made perks and they are just putting them in halo with a little twist. I think the reason why we are spartan 4s in halo 4 is to try to make some sense why we are going to have all of these perks and abilities and probably move slower and jump lower than the other halos. Hopefully halo 4 has faster paced movement than reach if it doesn’t I will be really sad.
Good God, everyone is so damn misinformed -.- The Multi-player maps in Reach did NOT come from the campaign. I don’t know how many times this will have to be repeated before it finally sinks in (apparently a lot if even Frankie believes that’s the case [at least that’s how his statement sounded in the video I don’t know if he knows they were made the for the Multi-player first or not]). The multi-player maps in Reach were made first and then they were implemented into the campaign after the fact, not the other way round.

1.It’s been in since Halo Wars.
2.Put a different Helmet on.

I don’t care what was made first, they were still the same. Campaign levels = multiplayer levels = campaign levels.
