I decided to jump on Halo 4 at around 4:00 PM here in the U.S. and I was stunned at the very low playlist population. Only 547 players on Infinity Slayer, that’s absurd! Considering a game that’s not even a year old yet, that’s not very good. Not sure what’s causing this rapid decrease in players over the past few months, but I never thought Halo 4 was THAT bad. I hope 343i is aware of this, because Halo should not be that empty on a Saturday afternoon.
Likely you hoped into the backup servers. The population is still low but not that low.
There may be a bug in the game where it shows a lower population number than there really is.
Those aren’t the real population numbers, it’s just a server glitch.

You were in the backup playlist hoppers.
